so, been without insurance for a while... but needed to take care of me. checked out the Al Hirschfeld Free Clinic (provided by the Actor's Fund). i'm very wary of "free clinics"... as one should be. i've gone to some before... and often it's not the best experience...sometimes even a BAD experience. BUT... i have to say that this was one of the best experiences i've ever had even going to the doctor! i kid you not. they were informative, caring, took time with me... i felt like i was a person, a professional, someone in need... but not thrown aside.
so... if you don't have insurance... and you have your AEA card... or SAG card... check them out. even if you don't have your card, they have offers. check them out.
