AND WE PAINTED.
after 3 days of painting....
our place is like a new place.
no...really... it is.
we've got new curtains even.
it's really pretty.
BUT....
it took a while to get there.
the green in the kitchen was so lovely... we chose right with that "garden path"...
BUT... "flaming sword"?
just say NO.
it was a good idea going into it. and would have been just fine.......
but... after dealing with this RED that made us, in turn, see everything RED...
we were done.
it was streaky... and turned out to be way too orange. and making us cranky just looking at it.
so.....after painting it all red, we went to bed and went back to HD the next day and bought MORE paint.
this time, we dove into............ rich mocha.
it looks like chocolate.
mmmmmm......
and we love it.
i wish we were in the chocolate factory. it makes me want chocolate.
is that weird?
anyway...the halls are now chocolate...or 'rich mocha'... or whatever...but with a SLIGHT bit of red at the edges. (sigh)
so...after 3 days...we survived and it looks so PRETTY!
and now... rest well... even if it's cuz your high off paint fumes.
kidding. :-)
